Celebrating 160 Years
TGD developed a campaign to celebrate the YMCA’s 160 years of health and wellness programs. The process kicked off with the preparation of a year-long strategic plan and budget to determine the elements of the promotional campaign, which included the introduction of the YMCA’s newest state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Washington, DC.
The theme, “Looking Back, Moving Forward,” was used throughout the multi channel campaign. TGD designed and programmed a celebration microsite with an interactive timeline and online donation capabilities, created a buzz on social media among YMCA patrons by launching monthly fitness challenges, raised public awareness through outdoor signage and developed reward levels and gifts to thank donors. Other celebratory collateral included thank you items and a Commemorative 160 Book (electronic and print) for high-end donors.
