NRF is the world’s largest retail trade association, representing retailers from the United States and more than 45 countries. NRF’s annual report is a necessity in the retail business—providing economic forecast data needed by marketers to hit the ground running in the new year. The NRF annual report also offers a look back at the industry’s accomplishments, key policy issues, expanding efforts for retail job growth and highlights of educational events and research. Although it is hard to put a price on this valuable information, TGD literally did—using the shape of a price tag in their new logo and as the brochure die cut.
Summing up a $2.6 trillion a year industry
The report is produced at the end of each calendar year, so it can include important December returns. Also, it must be available by mid-January for distribution at NRF’s conference. The piece is designed in multiple formats: print, PDF and as a responsive website with clean code and superb style. The report’s design includes a wealth of statistics and projections, cleverly presented as infographics to quickly sum up a $2.6 trillion industry.
